Mozilla infuriates me.
Netscape. It's just Firefox but...greener. And it sounds too much like 'Runescape' for my liking. Many moons ago, I downloaded Netscape Browser to replace the ever-slowing and time wasting contraption that is Internet Explorer. For a while before this, I was using Firefox (because I wanted to try all the main browsers and decide the best after) and for some reason I uninstalled it because certain things would not work. Overall it was OK.Then, I got Netscape. It was a Godsend. To my knowledge it was the first browser to use tabs instead of new pages, and it was really easy to use. I continued to use it (without accepting updates) until Internet Explorer 7 came out. I tried it, and found that it had improved a lot, it had tabbed browsing and it looked nicer than Netscape. So good ol' Netty got binned, in favour of IE.Today, I decided to go back to Firefox, (and by now Firefox 2 was out) because IE was starting to get on my nerves (constant crashes, forgetting passwords etc.) and my God...It. Was. Awful. Problem No. 1 I could not import Favourites from IE into Firefox. Problem No. 2 It would not remember passwords for anything. (Blogger, Gmail, YouTube etc.)Problem No.3 It opened a new window after every link I clicked on and it was not set to do that. Aaaaand...Problem No. 4 It crashed twice an the first 10 minutes of use.So it sucked. Uninstalled quick as a jiffy. Back to Internet Explorer. Netscape was next in line, so, I installed it, and it also sucked. It WAS Firefox. But it was green, and there was no foxes in sight. Same problems, and it had a stupid little security thing after every link clicked on. Uninstalled. Then I realised that Netscape was actually owned my Mozilla. They murdered it. unless it was always owned by them and I didn't know, but it was waaaay better when I used it the first time. Sooo...Stuck with the Microsoft crap again. Then I thought: Is Safari on PC? So it was Googled, and, YAY! It is!! (Now, before we go on, I want to say that I really, really, really want a Mac, and its just the price tag that stops me getting one, and the fact that you can buy about three average PC's for the price of one average Mac. Which is gay.)So here I am, typing this in the Windows version of Safari, and it remembers passwords, has tabs, quick link things and it hasn't crashed yet, and whats better, is that my bedroom is that tiny little bit closer to having a Mac on the desk instead of a big, cumbersome PC. Rant Over. You can breathe now.
